Hammerbier Helles Lager In German, the term "hell Hammerbier Helles Lager In German, the term "helles" or "hell" translates to "bright" or "pale, referring to both clarity and color. The style was originally brewed by the Spaten brewery in the late 1800's to compete with the growing popularity of Czech Pilsners. Ours is brewed with Barke two-row malt, a historic summer barley. Expect a clean yet pronounced malt character with a medium body and a full flavored finish. NOW POURING - @sacredviceberks Softy Saison is back too ☁️.

We're not a sports bar but our staff loves soccer, and we like making people happy. This Friday (6/12) and next (6/19), we'll have the Team USA games on with sound. If our guests are into it, we'll keep doing it (within our hours of operation & outside of scheduled events). For all other matches, we'll happily take requests but we can play one game at a time (on both screens). We strive to know who we are and deliver it at all times, but Philly is a sports city -- get right or get left.
