Meet Tettnang Pils • our German Pilsner • 4.6% Meet Tettnang Pils • our German Pilsner • 4.6% Tett Pils is our take on a North German style pale lager and the first lager we've ever brewed. This style differs from the lagers of the rest of country with its exceptionally mineral rich water profile; one that lends the backbone an ideal base for a hop forward finish. Mashed singularly with the finest German Pils malt, hopped singularly with Tettnang hops, and fermented with a classic Philadelphia yeast strain, this lager explores a lively aroma of light citrus and dried flowers which is followed by a clean malt profile, light bitterness and a mineral rich finish. We will be tapping the first keg tomorrow- Thursday, 11/21. See you at 4pm for happy hour and a fun surprise ✌🏼.
An old Amber St treat is coming to our Berks St ta An old Amber St treat is coming to our Berks St taproom this Wednesday, 11/6. Ma's Nuts are a delicious blend of mixed nuts, brown sugar, butter and spices, and they're our absolute favorite food to snack on whilst drinking beers. Growing up, Justin's mother would make them around the holidays and for many years, they were served as a complimentary treat at our original location in The Loom; whenever we were lucky enough to have them. We've somehow managed to convince her to give us the recipe and we'll have a super small batch of nuts for sale at Berks this Wednesday starting at 4pm. We welcome back with open arms and a foamy pour a We welcome back with open arms and a foamy pour a fresh batch of Back Trunk Britches Dark Mild, aka BTB. The term “mild” was originally used to describe a beer that was fresh and did not exhibit the characteristics of aged beers, such as oxidation or stale qualities. The term mild historically was applied to any style, signifying it was unaged or only contained a small quantity of unaged beer (like a “mild porter” or “mild bitter”). BTB is a dark, low-gravity, malt-focused British session ale made for drinking in quantity. Refreshing, yet flavorful, with a wide range of dark malt or dark sugar expression. Even with its low abv (3.6%) this beer packs a massive roast forward presentation with strong aromas of tootsie rolls and burned sugar.
